Initiative UK will launch a new arm focused on supporting clients within the health sector. The new offering will be called Initiative Health.
Initiative has grown significantly in recent years, and with the successful introduction of Initiative Health in the US, launching in the UK will help deliver these services on a global scale. This new division brings together our media expertise and the global healthcare category. By harnessing the strength of Initiative’s strategic vision, Initiative Health will be able to offer best-in-class products and services for health clients everywhere.
To lead the new division, Initiative has appointed health media expert Richard Springham as Managing Director of Initiative Health from June 2021.
Richard has over 12 years’ experience within the health industry, working in a range of roles across the NHS, creative agencies and health publishers. Most recently he was Managing Director of Four Health Media, part of Four Communications Group. In this role, he drove double digit revenue growth year-on-year and grew the health client base to work with 90% of the Top 10 Pharma companies in the world.
