Richard is CEO, UK and EMEA at IPG Mediabrands, responsible for driving strategy for media agencies, UM, Initiative and Mediahub in a consumer economy increasingly defined by digital media, data and continuous change. Previously UK CEO and EMEA President of Initiative, he has also held senior roles at two other media agencies, working with some of the most well-known brands in the world.
With a focus on creating a world-class integrated and collaborative offering for clients and an inspirational, exciting, and successful place to work for all his teams, Richard also remains committed to driving a positive step-change in both diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Richard sits on the governing body of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA).
Dan Tedesco, Chief Operating Officer, IPG Mediabrands EMEA As part of IPG Mediabrands Senior Leadership team, Dan is responsible for driving growth, transformation and consistency across the EMEA region. Formally Global Chief Financial Officer at IPG Mediabrands agency Initiative, Dan has also held various senior positions within the wider IPG Mediabrands group across EMEA, UK and Australia since joining in 2011.
Adrian is the CFO for the EMEA region. He has extensive experience in the media, digital and creative sectors having held various Finance, Commercial and Trading positions with Dentsu and WPP agencies. Adrian’s role focuses on delivering results across the region by building partnerships with our clients, agencies and Global teams. He is responsible for helping to deliver the results across over 20 EMEA markets.
Debbie leads HR for Mediabrands across the EMEA region. With a degree in Law, CIPD qualification and extensive experience in HR for marketing and digital agencies, Debbie joined Mediabrands in 2011 as HR Director for UK & Ireland. In 2015, Debbie moved to oversee the talent function for EMEA, with responsibility for improving employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle. A commercially focused, strategic HR leader, Debbie has led the transformation of our EMEA HR function, which successfully supports our business to achieve its goal of attracting, developing and retaining the very best talent in the industry. She understands what makes a great leader and ensures our leadership strives to create a culture within which our talent can thrive. She’s passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing and is a qualified Pilates instructor.
As EMEA President, Susan leads regional vision, strategy, and operations. With extensive global client leadership experience, she crafts and implements strategic plans. Energetic and curious, Susan drives UM’s client management and integrated capabilities. She pioneered agile, data-driven models for Honda and Mattel. Formerly CEO of International Client Services, she oversaw the IPG-wide Dyson account, achieving remarkable growth. Now, Susan continues to inspire innovation and deliver outstanding performance across the EMEA region.
Jimmy holds more than 20 years of experience in data driven digital customer engagement, across acquisition, CRM, and loyalty marketing. He specializes in helping clients transform and build their marketing models and operational marketing ecosystems by combining business and consumer-relevant strategies, advanced use of data, and the clients’ marketing tech stack.
Therefore, building behavior-changing branded experiences that drives business impact. Jimmy’s experiences go across various industries such as FMCG, hospitality, travel, retail, telco, and financial services. He helps clients like American Express, Weightwatchers, Boots, Nestlé, Starbucks, Southwest Airlines, British Airways, and Philips with their digital customer engagement initiatives. Before joining IPG, Jimmy was Worldwide Head of Customer Engagement, Commerce and Data at Ogilvy.
Chloe is President, EMEA for KINESSO, our global tech-driven performance agency. In her role, she is responsible for driving strategy and growth across EMEA, ensuring KINESSO’s services continue to be future-proofed, whilst safeguarding the continuous integration with IPG Mediabrands agency partners, Initiative, Mediahub and UM.
She is focused on ensuring continued consistency of service for clients across the region as well as helping to drive local vitality with our experienced senior leadership teams.
Chloe is also responsible for the KINESSO UK & Ireland business, driving incredible business growth, capability, and reputation in the market and leads teams in KINESSO’s global capability centres around the world.
Laura leads the IT and Technology for the EMEA region. Laura has extensive experience in leading IT strategy and teams in a variety of sectors including Telecommunications, Travel, Media and has also led international outsourced IT operations for HP and Oracle.
Laura’s role focuses on ensuring there is a clear strategic plan for delivering robust, efficient and business enabling IT systems that support growth and a step change in business goals. A people focused, leader with a passion for building motivated and diverse high performing teams, Laura is excited by all the opportunities for technology to drive innovation in the way we work and how we support our clients.
Laura’s twin daughters were born in Cape Town, South Africa where she and her husband worked for a number of years, so she enjoys going back to Africa for holidays when she can. She also loves taking her dogs for long walks.
Howard is Managing Director EMEA of Orion and is responsible for leading Orion across the region, focusing on delivering results by building partnerships with our clients and agencies, working closely with the Global Orion team. He joined Orion in January 2016 and has served in prior roles as EMEA Growth Lead and UK Managing Director, leading the growth of the UK business across recent years and developing relationships to create significant value for our clients. Howard has worked in the media industry since 2003 and prior to working at Mediabrands held senior sales roles at Virgin Media, Disney and Channel 5. When not at work, Howard can normally be found with his wife, Mel, and his two kids, Eva and Jack.
Chris is Rapport MD, UK & EMEA and is our Out-of-Home lead across a media channel that is changing rapidly from static or classic posters to digital screens and the exciting and transformational opportunities that offers to clients. Chris joined IPG initially to set up an international Out-of-Home planning and buying agency for clients overseeing Boeing, Samsung and MasterCard and more recently has been responsible for the European roll out of Rapport offices in Italy, Germany, Spain, France and Belgium. Rapport’s latest initiative is the launch of Rapport Beyond, our scheme to offset 100% of digital screen carbon emissions with a target to be climate positive by 2022. Chris has a degree in Classics from Leicester University and started his career in account management at Grey.
Kevin is the Head of Magna for the EMEA region, and is responsible for managing Mediabrands’ media investment strategy for the region. Kevin’s role covers areas such as client partnerships, media standards, International trading, and he is heavily involved in the brokering and operationalising of the IPG global partnership approach. He is responsible for working with the local Magna leads in each market to ensure a consistent and forward facing approach to the ever changing world of media investment. Kevin brings 25 years of planning, buying and trading experience to his role, and has worked across multiple disciplines and client sectors in his previous roles at ITV and Zenith Optimedia.
